Just a nice little introduction of how I became who I am today…Born 18th April 1987, at 18.32 to be precise, from the now not existant Freedom Fields Hospital, Plymouth.
The son of a sailor (David Gethin Williams) and a housewife (Kim Leigh Moran), Jamie Robert Williams starts his life.
After a bad start to life (parents split up) I found myself moving to York, due to my step fathers job.You may have thought that my mum would have learnt to avoid servicemen but nope, she re-married a British Army soldier called Derick, who came from up north in t’Uddersfield but was serving with the 4th/7th Royal Dragoon Guards.
After a few years in York we moved to a tiny little village called Marsden, which is basically in the ass-end of nowhere, better known as The Pennines, where my brother Nicholas almost burnt down the house playing with fire!
This is where I met my best-friend Chris Lane. From what I can remember we spent every day together until the day i found myself moving on again, this time back home.
We lost contact until one day I received an email, it was Chris, he’d managed to find me through msn messenger. After reminiscing for days and updating each other on whats been happening he turned and said to me
“I always wished you were my brother”
This made me very sad, in a happy way. I felt proud of myself.
Then, after a few years back in Plymouth my Mum and Derick split up, so myself along with my 3 siblings lived with our Step Dad.
Mean while my ‘real Dad’ had – had another son called Joshua with a new woman.
After a few years of living with my Derick my eldest sister Vicky moved in with my mum, and then on to her current dwellings in Newcastle where she lives with her long-term boyfriend and 3 kids – Taylor, Bailee Jack and most recently Devon.
Strange names I know but what do you expect Geordie/Janner kids to be called nowadays. Good old English names like Fred or Ivy wont do anymore, but I do enjoying the fact I can lay claim to having 2 nephews and a neice.
Derick finally remarried Sharon, who along with her daughters Louise and Carla moved in with us, a new family had started.
After moving around a few times in a couple of years we finally settled in our current locations, Whitleigh, which is an area of Plymouth.
Then the next sequence of events brings me to where I am today, although alot happened in between…
